Pug Painting
Hey everyone! really excited to see everyones work on here. For the first few weeks I will probably be posting work from high school and stuff I did before college. I really enjoy painting. I find it so relaxing to be able to mix the colors and apply layers of paint until I get a piece I'm proud of. This first piece is a little less serious, but I love realistic styles and attempting to make things look like a picture. (Notice how I said "attempt") Enjoy this painting of the ugliest cute dog around!

Hi Joel. I am quite a sucker for puppies and kittens. I think your painting looks very good! I really like the details you put on the eyes. Your painting reminded me of Chuck Close (though, his paintings are all human portraits).
