I plan to move to Denmark in pursuit of a job with LEGO after I'm done with Uni, so this probably won't be the last time you see LEGO-related work on this blog!
I built this cozy scene for a winter LEGO competition maybe 5 or so years back. Some concepts I used that I'm pretty proud of were making the brickwork in such a small scale, getting the lattice pattern and texture on the carpet, and using minfigure arms as stockings above the mantel.
A similar mood, but a more conservative approach. I believe this was built around the same time. The armchair is a 1:48 scale model of an armchair found in my home. It was part of a project where I was constructing my entire house in a 1:48 LEGO scale model; unfortunately this project never saw completion.
